Return and refund policies

At SHAMUNA, we work diligently to offer you quality garments inspired by the rich culture of Ecuador. However, we understand that there may be situations where you need an exchange or return. Below, we detail our policies:

1. Size or product exchanges

  • We accept size exchanges within 7 days of receiving your order .
  • The garment must be in perfect condition , unused, unwashed, with original tags and packaging.
  • The customer assumes the shipping costs for the exchange, unless the error is attributable to SHAMUNA (wrong size or product).

2. Returns

  • We only accept returns in case of manufacturing defects or problems attributable to our quality control.
  • Returns are not accepted for normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper washing.
  • To request a refund, you must contact us within 5 days of delivery by sending photos and a description of the problem to our support email.

3. Refunds

  • Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will notify you by email whether the refund has been approved or rejected.
  • If approved, the refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method within approximately 7 to 10 business days .
  • In the case of purchases made by bank transfer, the account details will be requested to process the refund.

4. Products on offer or promotions

  • Items purchased on promotion or sale are not eligible for exchange or return , except for factory defects.

5. Process for exchanges or returns

  1. Write to us at our contact email address with the subject “Exchange/Return – Order Number” .
  2. Attach photos of the product and a brief explanation of the reason.
  3. Our team will review your request and tell you the steps to follow for shipping the product.
