What is Placetopay?

Placetopay is the electronic payment platform that SHAMUNA uses to process online transactions generated in the virtual store with the payment methods enabled for this purpose.

How can I pay?

At the SHAMUNA online store, you can make your payment using the available methods. Depending on the payment options selected by the merchant, you can pay with Diners, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard; for current payments from all banks, and for deferred payments, only cards issued by Banco Pichincha, Diners, Loja, BGR, and Manabí are accepted.

Is it safe to enter my bank details on this website?

To protect your data, SHAMUNA entrusts Placetopay with the capture of sensitive information. Our payment platform meets the highest standards required by the international PCI DSS standard for credit card transaction security. Furthermore, it has an SSL security certificate issued by GeoTrust, a Verisign company, which guarantees secure communication by encrypting all data to and from the site; this way, you can feel safe when entering your card information.

During the payment process, the browser displays the name of the authenticated organization, the certifying authority, and the address bar turns green. These features are immediately visible and provide assurance and confidence for completing the transaction on Placetopay .

Placetopay also features constant monitoring by McAfee Secure and electronic message signing with Certicámara.

Can I make the payment any day and at any time?

Yes, at SHAMUNA you can shop online 24/7, just a click away.

Can I change the payment method?

If you haven't yet completed your payment, you can return to the initial step and choose your preferred payment method. Once the purchase is complete, it's not possible to change the payment method.

Does paying electronically have any value for me as a buyer?

No, electronic payments made through Placetopay do not generate additional costs for the buyer.

What should I do if my transaction did not complete?

First, you should check if you received a payment confirmation email in your email account (the one registered when making the payment). If you haven't received it, you should contact info@shamuna.com to confirm the status of the transaction.

If your transaction was declined, you should verify that your account information is valid, that the account is enabled for online purchases, and that you have sufficient credit or available funds. If the transaction is still declined after these steps, you should contact SHAMUNA. As a last resort, you can submit your request to servicioposventa@placetopay.ec .

What should I do if I didn't receive the payment receipt?

For each transaction approved through Placetopay, you will receive a payment receipt with your purchase reference at the email address you provided at checkout. If you do not receive it, you can contact us at +593-99-986-1230 or email info@shamuna.com to request that the receipt be resent to the same email address you used for payment. As a last resort, you can also submit your request to servicioposventa@placetopay.ec .

The product I bought didn't arrive, what should I do?

You should check if the transaction was successful on your bank statement. If so, you should review our policies.
Shipping information is available on the website www.shamuna.ec to identify delivery times.

Shipping and Delivery

Do you ship to all of Ecuador and other countries?

Yes, we ship nationwide with delivery times of 2 to 5 business days, depending on the city. Currently, we only ship within Ecuador.

Can I track my order?

Yes, we will send you a tracking number so you can follow your order at all times.

Exchanges and returns

Can I exchange my garment if the size doesn't fit?

Yes, within 7 calendar days after delivery, provided the garment is unused, in perfect condition and with tags.

What happens if I receive a defective or incorrect product?

In that case, SHAMUNA will cover the return shipping costs and we will send you the correct garment or issue a refund.

How long does a refund take?

Between 5 and 10 business days after we receive and verify the item. The refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the purchase.

We work primarily with high-quality cotton and fibers, prioritizing comfort, durability, and environmentally responsible processes.

What sizes do you carry?

Our garments are available in sizes XXS to XL. You can check our size guide to choose the most suitable one.

How should I care for my garment?

We recommend washing in cold water, drying in the shade, and avoiding bleach. Each garment includes care instructions on its label.

Are the colors of the garments the same as in the photos?

We do our best to display the true colors, but slight variations may exist depending on the screen or lighting.
